Looking for more than just a driving job?STORsquare Houston West is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team. You will deliver storage containers throughout the Houston area, operate our specialized remote-controlled delivery equipment, and provide an exceptional customer experience.
As the primary face of our company, you will play a key role in customer satisfaction and business growth. This position offers advancement opportunities as the company expands, including Lead Driver, Operations Manager, and future leadership roles.
Job Responsibilities
• Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver containers• Load/unload containers and additional materials per customer specifications
• Deliver containers to designated locations in a courteous manner
• Operate a specialized remote-controlled container delivery system ("Mule") to safely place containers at customer locations
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Take pre- and post-delivery photographs of storage containers
• Ask for feedback and help resolve customer concerns
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
• Obtain delivery confirmations and signatures from customers
• Complete marketing and promotional deliveries
• Assist in storage, maintenance, and upkeep of containers at the warehouse
• Plan routes to maximize efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned to support a growing business
Job Requirements
• Valid Texas Driver’s License (CDL not required)• Clean driving record
• 1+ years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certificate
• Experience with forklifts or powered industrial equipment preferred
• Ability to pass company driving test, background check, and drug screening
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive and professional attitude
• Drivers DO NOT have to pack for customers
