Overview: Time for the West Houston Economy to Prepare for Slower Growth
The last few years have seen strong growth for the West Houston economy as national economic trends and the results of the energy industry have been in high growth mode. That may be beginning to change. While West Houston continues to be one of the more powerful areas of Greater Houston, we will also be affected by the coming head winds.
To help you prepare for the environment ahead, The Houston West Chamber of Commerce produces the West Houston Outlook 2020 at the beginning of the year. It is designed to help large and small business owners prepare for the coming year. With a combination of insight from one of the top economists in the area and a panel of key executives from the most important business segments, owners, managers and executives will be up to date on economic trends affecting 2020.
The target audience for the West Houston Outlook 2020 Conference and Business Expo includes industry leaders and business owners from Greenway Plaza to the Energy Corridor. Other industries interested in this information are encouraged to participate as well including but not limited to financial institutions, investors, engineering firms, developers, brokers, independent business owners, and site selectors.
The Conference will kick-off with continental breakfast, business marketplace/business expo (with up to 20 exhibits), followed by a series of business forums that discuss the most pressing and cutting-edge issues in business today. The day will end with luncheon, keynote speaker and panel of industry experts closing out the Conference.
