Andre' Walker, CMAA, TAAC, M.Ed., Athletics Director for Houston ISD
Andre’ is a 1991 graduate of Kashmere Senior High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Texas Southern University, Master’s in Education from Prairie A&M University and is currently completing his doctoral degree in Education Administration.
Andre’ started his teaching career in the Houston Independent School District. He taught Math, History, and Physical Education as well as coached football, basketball, and track. He served as an Assistant Principal at Key Middle School and Kashmere Senior High School. In 2012, Andre’ joined the district’s Athletic Department where he served as the Senior Athletics Program Administrator and the 18-6A District Executive Committee Chairperson. He currently serves as the Director of Athletics and UIL Activities for Houston ISD.
Andre’ is an active member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) and serves on the Credentials Committee. He received the distinction of Certified Athletic Administrator (CAA) from the NIAAA in 2012 and the distinction of Certified Master’s Athletic Administrator (CMAA) in 2018. He serves on the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety & Security (NCS4) Interscholastic Athletics Advisory Committee. Andre’ is also an active member of the National Federation of State High School Association (NFHS) where he serves on the Student Services Committee. He is the Chair of the Texas High School Athletic Director’s Association (THSADA) Athletics Committee, a member of the Texas High School Coaches Association, the Texas Girls Coaches Association, and the Houston Coaches Association.
He is married to Tiffanie Walker and they have two sons –Andre’ Walker II and Aiden Walker.

Liz Parent, Principal
Liz graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a BS in Civil Engineering. She began her career as a Hydrology and Hydraulics engineer before collaborating with Kelly Humphries, PE to open 5engineering in 2011. The firm is focused on water resources engineering and has expanded to 23 employees. Liz is a Society of American Military Engineers National Board Member, has served on the board of the Houston – American Council of Engineering Companies, is a trainer for the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, and is a member of the West Houston Association (WHA). As part of WHA, Ms. Parent is spearheading a committee to connect HCC Engineering students to industry through internship opportunities.
