This presentation provides a brief, general overview of employment provisions of the ADA (Title I). Participants will learn about who is covered under the law (and who isn't), how health and safety issues should be handled, how the law handles alcohol and drug users, job applications and interviews, essential job functions, reasonable accommodations, job restructuring, paid and unpaid leave, reassignment, undue hardship, and restrictions for medical examinations and inquiries. |
