| ABOUT THE SPEAKER |
| Mr. Charles has spent the last 25 years in three different industries in which he has achieved tremendous success. Currently, Mr. Charles is the Senior Director of Business Development for JOBE Services, Inc. The company does account receivable funding. JOBE Services, Inc. provides cash flow solutions for business owners. The company has been in business since 1996 and is locally owned and operated. Mr. Charles spent eight years as Senior Manager at PF Chang in Houston where he was responsible for front house operations including managing a staff of 75 employees as well as marketing and outside sales. His marketing efforts helped his PF Chang restaurant become the number 1 volume and catering restaurant in the company. His success was noted by the company and he was awarded Manager of the Year in 2017. He spent 8 years with Star Furniture as a Senior Sales Associate where he earned numerous awards including Associate of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year. Mr. Charles also maintained President Club status for 8 years and sold over 8 million dollars during his time at Star Furniture. Mr. Charles spent 8 years with Steak and Ale restaurant where he earned numerous awards including General Manager of the Year during his first year there as a General Manager. Mr. Charles also has owned his own consulting business where he helps small business owners have success. One of Mr. Charles' greatest pleasure is being able to help, inspire and motivate other people by teaching them goal setting activities so they too can achieve their dreams. Gerard Charles was born on the island of St. Lucia in the Caribbean and came to Houston as a teenager to go to school and has made Houston his home. |
